Canadian Amateur Golf
Ah, 2019—a time not only simpler, but also notable as the final year Golf Canada issued The National Orders of Merit. Subsequent to this, Golf Canada enhanced its player development program with the ambitious goal of advancing 30 Canadians to the LPGA and PGA Tour by 2032.
Although there are more Canadians participating in various Tours now, it left those eager for top amateur women and men rankings somewhat unsatisfied. Fortunately, Canadian Amateur Golf was established in 2024 to address this issue, and to find other ways to celebrate our amateur golfers.
Introducing the Top 10 Women and Men Amateur Golfers in Canada
It's not rocket science, but at Canadian Amateur Golf, we used the World Amateur Golf Rankings (WAGR) for our top 10 list. Is WAGR flawless? Definitely not, but it's the most commonly used system, and we wanted to focus on other topics rather than ranking players. Could you find these rankings on your own? Absolutely, but you’d need to visit wagr.com, select either female or male rankings, filter by North America, then Canada, and there you have it. Canadian Amateur Golf is here to save you time, so we've compiled it for you below.
We are extremely thankful to PING Canada for sponsoring our reproduction of the WAGR Top 10s! Here are the inaugural Canadian Amateur Golf Top 10s as of April 9, 2025:
Top 10s Women

Top 10s Men
