One of the main reasons Canadian Amateur Golf (CAG) was created was to give us the opportunity to celebrate our amateur golfers. This included those top players who were already followed by golf insiders and the rest of us who just like to play new courses, meet others and challenge ourselves. Golf Canada has an amazing talent finding crew scoping out the best up and coming golfers, but at CAG we are also trying to promote the other 99.99%.

Did You Know You Can Participate in Provincial Championships Other Than Your Own?
One of our goals at CAG is that we want more participation at all levels of golf in Canada, so we created a master list of national and provincial tournaments. Our hope is that this might help more people pay attention and possibly choose to compete either for the first time or to come back to competitive play. Be aware that each tournament can restrict players so please check each tournaments Entry Form or Terms of Competition to make sure you are eligible or contact the individual tournament coordinator.
Below we wanted to break down each division so golfers could easily see what tournaments they could play without having to go to each provincial association specifically (of course, we aren’t responsible for mistakes or if after our time of publish, changes are made). As a note, we are not including junior or college tournaments as we have seen that generally their parents and/or coaches have these tournaments covered.
Senior Women
I am the founder of CAG so this category gets to go first. Each year, I pull up Golf Canada and many provincial golf association websites to figure out what tournaments I want to play. It is based on my schedule as well as the courses, cities and if I know any friends who will be there. Here is our 2025 Senior Women’s Master Schedule.
British Columbia Women's Senior June 9 Whistler Golf
Ontario Women's Senior July 1 Spring Lakes Golf Club
NB Women's Provincials July 4 Country Meadows Golf
Golf NS Women's Provincials July 4 River Oaks Golf
NL Amateur Championship July 7 The Wilds
Quebec Women's Provincials July 14 Le Champêtre
PEI Senior July 14 Belvedere
Alberta Women's Senior July 22 Highwood Golf
Manitoba Women's Senior August 11 Glendale Golf
Canadian Women's Senior August 26 Nanaimo Golf
Senior Men
We’ll stick with the older players and move to the men’s side. Below is the 2025 Senior Men’s Master Schedule.
Amateur Men
On the men’s side, there are some tournaments such as the Nova Scotia Men’s Amateur who placed restrictions on out of province due to the anticipated demand due to the location. Here is the 2025 Men’s Amateur Master Schedule.
Amateur Women
There are some great courses included in the rota for this year’s amateur women’s tournaments. Below is the 2025 Women’s Amateur Master Schedule.
SK Women's Amateur July 15 Humboldt
Did You Know That You Can Also Play in Mid Amateur Tournaments If You Are 25 and Older?
Some provinces include these with other tournaments while others have enough demand to host stand-alone tournaments. If you are newer to tournaments and over 25, this is often a more casual scenario than the Amateur championships. Head over to provincial associations to check out your options.
All Abilities, Adaptive, Aboriginal Championships
Another goal at CAG is to celebrate golfers competing with disabilities in All Abilities or Adaptive championships as well as Aboriginal championships. These are relatively new competitions in recent years and allow those to compete who may not have had as many opportunities in the past. Here is the 2025 Master Schedule:
Please let us know if we have made a mistake. Good luck on the links this summer!
