Canada’s premier women’s amateur golf series has wrapped, and what a season it was. The 2025 She Plays Golf Championship Series delivered high drama, low scores, and unforgettable moments across three standout events — proving once again that the future of women’s golf in Canada is in incredibly talented hands.
All three ladies earned their exemptions into the CPKC Women’s Open through the She Plays Golf Championship Series. They will be part of a world-class field set to compete at Mississauga Golf and Country Club in Mississauga, Ont. for the 51st playing of the CPKC Women’s Open August 20-24. Here's how it all unfolded.
Event 1: Clara Ding Dominates at the BC Women’s Open
GolfBC Group BC Women’s Open – B.C.
The 2025 She Plays Golf Championship Series kicked off in thrilling fashion at the GolfBC Group BC Women’s Open, where White Rock, B.C.’s Clara Ding seized the title. At just 14, she became the youngest to ever win the BC Women's Open in her home province.

Event 2: Shauna Liu’s Bogey-Free Blitz at Glencoe
Peloton Glencoe Invitational – Calgary, Alta.
In the second stop of the She Plays Golf Series, Shauna Liu of Maple, Ontario fired a lights-out 66 in her final round to storm back and win the 2025 Peloton Glencoe Invitational in Calgary. A bogey-free card and laser-focused iron play defined her stunning comeback. Fans on-site watched in awe as she chased down the leaders and sealed the win with clutch putting and calm under pressure.

Event 3: Tillie Claggett Cruises at PGA Women’s Championship of Canada
Burlington Golf & Country Club – Burlington, Ont.
The series finale belonged to none other than Calgary's Tillie Claggett, who put on an absolute clinic in Burlington. Her 8-under 63 in round two set the tone, and she cruised to a seven-stroke victory at the 38th PGA Women’s Championship of Canada, finishing at 13-under par overall.
